A party business that needed its website to sound as loud as the cabin

Kids Cabins runs a mobile gaming and disco party cabin: five gaming screens, booming sound and a disco setup delivered to your driveway. The brand is neon, playful and high-energy, and the design concept matched it: full-bleed dark sections, glassmorphism cards, marquee strips and colour everywhere.

The brief was to turn that concept into a real WordPress site the owners could edit themselves: services, galleries, a weddings page and a booking flow, without the design losing its energy in translation.

The brief, and why it was tricky

Designs like this are easy to hardcode and hard to build well in a page builder. The goal was to keep every section native and editable, not to ship a beautiful site the client could never touch.

A design that fights page builders

Full-bleed neon rows, marquee strips and glass cards, the kind of styling that usually ends up hardcoded and uneditable.

Full-bleed rows in Salient

The theme's row model needed careful handling to keep sections truly edge-to-edge without breaking the builder.

Heavy imagery, light pages

Two photo galleries and a colour-saturated aesthetic had to stay fast on the phones parents actually browse on.

The challenge was real, and it was costing time, money, and client experience.

How it was built

Native-first: every section uses stock Salient and WPBakery elements, with a custom CSS layer on top for the neon, marquee and glass effects. That split is the whole trick, the visual identity lives in the stylesheet while the content stays ordinary builder blocks the owners can edit.

Around the design work: two galleries ("Recent Parties" and "Take a Look Inside"), a weddings section for the upsell, a contact form plus click-to-call, and social links, all wired for a business that books by phone as much as by form.

The solution was designed from the ground up to fit this exact business.

Design teardown

Mapped the supplied concept into Salient rows and native elements before building anything.

Stock builder elements for every section, custom CSS for the neon and glass identity.

Galleries & booking

Two image galleries, enquiry form, click-to-call and socials wired end to end.

QA & handover

Mobile and speed pass, then a walkthrough so the owners can edit everything themselves.
