Video-Led Brand Site for a Prefab Villa Builder spanning two territories

Prefabrication carries a reputation problem: buyers hear it and picture something mass-produced. This build spends its first screen fighting that, with a full-bleed video of the finished villas in their setting before a single word about manufacturing appears.

Selling prefab to people who think they want bespoke

The commercial advantage here is that everything happens in-house, from design and prefabrication through shipping to on-site reassembly. That is an operations story, and operations stories do not sell luxury.

So the site leads with the outcome and lets the process arrive second. Video of the finished villas comes first, the workshop and the in-house argument come after, and the order of those two things is the whole design decision.

The brief, and where the difficulty sat

A manufacturer operating in two territories on opposite sides of the world, selling a product category that buyers are sceptical of, using a serif editorial style that has to stay legible over moving footage. Three constraints that pull in different directions.

Type over moving footage

A serif lockup has to stay legible against video that changes behind it.

Two territories, one brand

A presence on opposite sides of the world without splitting into two sites.

Prefab has a perception problem

Buyers hear prefabrication and picture mass production, so order of argument matters.

Video is expensive to load

A full-bleed hero video cannot be allowed to hold up the first paint.

The challenge was real, and it was costing time, money, and client experience.

How it was built

The hero runs muted, looping video behind a centred serif lockup, with the type weighted and spaced so it holds against changing footage rather than relying on a heavy overlay that would flatten the imagery.

The two territories are presented as one practice with a presence in each, not as two regional sites, so the brand stays single while a buyer in either place sees themselves served. Projects, practice and team each get their own destination, because for this purchase the buyer researches the company as much as the product.

The solution was designed from the ground up to fit this exact business.

Place the process second
